This picture was taken the 26.03.99 in Austnesfjorden from Kvittind looking across the fjord. The mountain Rulten arises 1062 meters above sea level. Down in the fjord in the shadow of the mountains the fishermen are waiting in their small boats for the signal at 1700 hours alowing them to put their nets in the water hoping to get some of the famous LofotenCod.
